Fall Of The Son is a dark fantasy roguelike deckbuilder where players confront escalating challenges through strategic card play and high-stakes combat. The game’s tone blends bleak atmosphere, determination, and explosive confrontation, framing each run as a descent through mounting pressure and consequence.

I am composing the original soundtrack for the game. The score currently consists of three original tracks:

The musical language sits between cinematic orchestral and modern hybrid scoring, combining orchestral textures with electric guitar and powerful percussion, including taiko-inspired elements. The goal is to support the game’s dark fantasy identity through weight, momentum, and dramatic contrast.

The main theme establishes the world’s gravity and tone, while the overworld track focuses on restrained tension and anticipation. The battle track leans into rhythmic drive and impact, emphasizing urgency and confrontation without overwhelming the player.

The soundtrack is built around strong thematic material and clear emotional contrasts. Orchestral writing provides scale and drama, while modern elements add immediacy and edge. This hybrid approach allows the music to feel both epic and contemporary, reinforcing the game’s atmosphere and intensity.
