Yanni Ziangos · Composer, Producer & Musician

I'm Yanni Ziangos (YannZ), a Venezuelan-born composer and musician based in Paris since 2014. I write original music for video games and visual storytelling, combining a background in jazz performance and arranging with cinematic composition and contemporary production.

I started with classical clarinet and later moved into bass and guitar, developing my musicianship through conservatory jazz studies in Paris and Versailles. That mix of live playing, harmonic language and studio work informs how I build soundtracks today.

I don't work within a single genre. Depending on the project, I draw on jazz fusion, orchestral writing, folk-inspired instrumentation, electronics, ambience or heavy guitar-based music to give each world a distinct musical identity.

Music that works in the game

A good score has to create atmosphere and retain its identity while leaving space for dialogue, sound effects and player decisions. I compose with those constraints in mind: loop structures, musical transitions, thematic development and arrangements that can evolve alongside gameplay.

For interactive projects, I can prepare seamless loops, stems, alternative arrangements, stingers and audio-logic documentation. Composition and adaptive-system design are separate from middleware implementation, which is defined according to the project scope.
